Girl, your socks are toe-up!
Well, late last night I finished the toe-up socks I had been knitting. A funny thing tho...I don't care for them. After I was done, I tried them and the socks I made for my dad on, and the latter had SUCH a better fit. The toe-up ones are very tight in the area opposite the heel (like the front of the ankle) and it doesn't feel so good...also makes em hard to get on. I can only imagine how tight they would be if there weren't little holes by the heel...gah! Well...the moral of the story is I don't like them and I won't be making them again. Which is fine because then I don't have to worry about splitting balls anymore...woohoo. Here they are tho, in all their glory:
