I attempted to knit a toe-up sock today. I spent several hours knitting and ripping out several toes...and I finally got to the point where I need to pick up the opposing stitches...but now I am having trouble with this. Once I get past this last hurdle I think I will be good to go (and the toe-up patterns are much simpler to remember...which makes it even more portable! Plus I can do it all on one circular, woohoo). I will perhaps tackle that this weekend. For now, I cast the second bulky sock onto my fave all-purpose circular, so it is occupied. Ugh, maneuvering this bulky yarn on a size 3 is a pain in the butt. I won't try it again!
