As luck would have it...

the day I start my job, I get a call from a real job. All these months I've waited and got no replies, and now I get one, hah! It's for a lab position that pays twice as much at a company I have been trying to get into for awhile. It's a 4-6 month temporary position (filling in for someone who is on maternity leave) but maybe it could lead to a permanent position. And it's not too far either (I don't actually have to go into St. Louis. I may have to quit HL with little notice if I get this job...but will I do it? You bet your pants!
